My first kayak:
Neris Valkure-1 Basic. Single-seat folding kayak.
Manufactured in the Ukraine.

Paddles: Main - TNP 2-piece alu. 240cm. long. (was purchased as 225cm. long but discovered months later that it is 240cm. - but that length works fine.)

One piece PVC hull and deck with rubbing strips bonded to hull. Includes two bow to stern inflatable sponsons, in integral protective sleeves,
Picture shows it folded to fit into a backpack.
Transverse frames:
Marine plywood.
Longitudinal framing and cockpit coaming:
Aluminium alloy tubular sections with special profile sections for coaming.
Marine plywood stem and sternposts.
Backpack:
A one bag system. Skin, transverse frames, longitudinal framing, cockpit coamings, spray deck cover, waist skirt, inflatable seat and repair kit all fit into this bag - and I can even get a section of bottom boards, which I made, in there as well.
And then came:

All that is really needed to get on the water quickly.
It will all fit into this 80 litre waterproof backpack:
The few other bits and pieces required on a short kayaking trip are also in there.
Skin (Nitrilon Light) unrolled.
Skin opened out ready for inflation.
The three separate chambers (bottom + 2 side tubes) of the main hull are inflated with the foot pump. The seat and footrest (both already in position) have to be inflated by mouth.
The bottom inflation chamber is fitted with a pressure relief valve. Because of the high temperatures we get here in southern Spain I may fit pressure relief valves in the side tubes - if I can overcome a reluctance to cut holes in the skin!
10 minutes later ....... all pumped up and ready to go.
And then:
